Hi all! can I change the scale while displaying contours on FLUENT? It always displays the scale between the maximum and minimum value. But in order to compare with other results, I need to establish my own scale while displaying contours thanks a lot

If you would like to do it during calculation you can do it with an execute comand. Example for a single phase calculation velocity-plot scaled from 0 to 5 m/sec.
Display Contours Velocity 0 5 If you have more phases the comands change a little bit. The best thing is to test it in the TUI before. There you can also see all posibilities you have. hope that helps Gernot |

Hi Sami,
There are 2 things you can do. Firstly, you can uncheck the autorange function in the contour plot window and then specify the range you want. This is very handy when you are looking at things locally. If for instance you want to display normalised velocity or create your own function interms of other field variables then you can use a custom field function. Its near the bottom of the define menu from memory. Its easy to figure out and once you have created your function, it appears under the top menu in the contours panel. Hope this answers your question, Carlos. |
