Hi guys I am new to fluent cfd, please I need your help, my doubt is I have powersupply assembly and I have to do natural convection analysis which will be operated at 55•c. After fine mesh and importing into fluent,
1) what type fluid air (incompresible, ideal etc) should I need to assign 2) I have assigned volumetric heat in cellzone conditions for components required, is that way is correct. 3) what type of boundary should I need to choose, as there will be no transfer of heat and mass in and out so should I use complete wall 4)can I patch my temperature value for airdomain as ambient temperature |

Im simulating a natural convection problem and I have some problems in initial values.my problem is a flask that's filled with hot water.water temp is 90c but flask is in the room temp.i did patch the flask temp but all the zones are in 90c.
I dont know how to patch just the water zone! any tips are appreciated. |
