Boundary condition in SIPHONS - negative pressure

Hi, I am trying to model a siphon, this is a pipe (non-flexible) with water inside, and the problem I have found is that since the pressure calculations (bernoulli's equation) there is a condition of negative static pressure at the inlet (-8 mca) and a pressure positive at the outlet (0mca), this is due to the siphon effect. I don't understand very well how this could be possible, since water should flow from more pressure to less pressure, does anyone had any experience modelling siphons? Cheers
