Hi,

I'm trying to model a 3d adiabatic process.
I already established my mesh and completed the UDF program design for my model.
And I complished one cycle of modeling and got some animation.

However, I face a problem that I can't set up the initial pressure of my cylinder. When initializing, I can't choose cylinder volume. What I can only choose are cylinder head, piston, cylinder wall. In other words, I can only see face entities but no volume entity on the list of the initializing window.

The same problem happens when I trying to choose the entity that I'm trying to monitor. Only face entities are listed in the list box.

At first I thought maybe it's because fluent can't read the volume entity. However, I found that I can find the volume entity(cylinder) in the list of "boundary condition" set-up window. So, I don't know what's the problem with my project.

Is anyone have idea about what should I do to fix the problem?

Thx for help!!
