valve motion 3D

I'm using fluent to simulate the movement of valve and piston in an ic-engine. and gambit to make the mesh.

my problem is i have to mesh the inlet port but not the valve that is inside the inlet port. because now the volume mesh i put on the inlet port goes true my valve.

can anybody help me? thanx

Re: valve motion 3D

You can subtract the valve volume in Gambit. If there is no volume inside the valve, you won't get the mesh inside.
