Are any possibility for me to make multiple fuels inject in FLUENT? For example: coal and wood, both in particles?

Thanks

Hi Billy:

I need to inject two kinds of different solid fuels from different locations. Do you have any suggestions?

Thanks

Sure, we do it all the time. As Billy said, use separate injections. For example, coal could be Injection-0 which would have a set of particles each with their own type, injection location, particle diameter, combustion properties, etc and wood could be Injection-1, again with its own properties. Good luck.

Thanks Allan. That is so helpful!!

Since I am using oat hulls as the fuel, I guess I have to define a new material right? But how can I set up my parameters?

Hi Billy: When I define a new material in FLUNET, I have to set up the parameters like conductivity, binary diffusivity, and others. Do you know how can I set them up for a new material in the case that I don't have so much informations? Thanks
