Mean Velocity Fields

I am wondering if anyone knows if it is possible to produce a mean velocity field over a complete unsteady cycle within FLUENT. I have an oscillating jet moving into a base flow and can capture images at each phase angle. However, the experimental study I am referencing uses PIV techniques to capture a meanflow vector profile. I would like to produce something similar to compare my results against.

Any advise is appreciated

Thanks

Re: Mean Velocity Fields

hi, after the solution is converged in unsteady, you can run the solution by enabling the data sampling in the iterate panel upto the required time step. After this, you will get the mean velocity field in the contour and plot panels. you can use this for comparison.

That's great,

Thank you very much for the help.
