Hi,

I am analysing porous model with LTNE model for energy equation.

Fluent want Interfacial Area Density and Heat Tranfer Coefficient value.

My question, I wonder whether fluent take into account porosity and source signs.

Otherwise, Should I use UDF?

I added picture for more detailed.

Thank you in advance.

Hi typhoon,

I am workin on a surface reactor model which has a porous fiber mat. I want to use the thermal non-equilibrium model, and I need to obtain the Area Density, Heat Tranfer Coefficient ans absorption coefficient values. Do you know how I could estime this values?

Thanks a lot for your help!

Itsaso

Dear iam,

you should review articles related to surface reactor model. Because there are some equations about area density, htf etc. in these articles. I suggest you to use sciencedirect for articles.
