Conjugate heat transfer problem in 3D

hi all

I am solving 3D Conjugate heat transfer problem.... but when I export mesh file into fluent.....coupled boundary condition is not there in "define boundary condition" panel.. can I do somethng in fluent to assign coupled BC or I have to edit the geometry in gambit itself.... can anyone tell me how to make geometry so that coupled BC would appear in fluent.....

Thanks Tanveer

Generally it should appear if the two domains share the same face. I guess you have non-conformal mesh and the domains do not share any geometric entity.

(i) define the two domains (solid and fluid) in gambit itself. (ii) define interface (solid-fluid). Go to Fluent -> Define -> Grid Interface -> select appropriate surfaces and apply. (Switch on the coupled option there).
