need help on meshing in Gambit
 
HI Everybody I really need help on meshing a Truck geometry in a wind tunnel in gambit and i can't get the geometry in it well. i need help i have the geometry file in solid work or catia formats ( STL , IGS , STP formats as well) if any one of you guys could help me on it i would really appreciate it

Is your truck gemoery very complex? With underhood? In general Gambit is not my tool of choice for komplex geometries or large CADs.Regards.

export as STL from CAD and use TGrid's wrapper for complex underhood cases. Or just surface mesh in gambit then use TGrid for prisms and advancing front tet mesher or hexcore.
