Dear all,

I am now trying to perform a displacement ventilation simulation. Below are my boundaries:

1. Pressure inlet 2. Pressure outlet 3. Heat source with 309K temperature.

The model i used is:

1. k-e, 2.RNG 3.Gravity on, full buoyancy 3.ideal gas density 4.PISO pressure-velocity coupling 5. PRESTO pressure discretization

Here are my setting. Does it have any mistake?

Thanks for any advise.

could also try body force weighted for pressure but looks ok. You may find stnd ke more robust than RNG.

Thank you red lemon.

I try stnd ke. and can't converge. but with rng, it converge at 100+ ite.

Thanks again. I will try BFW also for my discovery.

Thats interesting as stnd is one of the most robust models. Do you have highly strained/shearing flows?

I don't think so. So how should i deal with the setting if i am using a stnd? I tried before with stnd for 2000 ite, the result never converged.

Thanks a lot for your help

Cheers, Chin Lim
