Dear friends..i m new in fluent..i need to specify reynolds number but i don't know where to specify that..can anyone help me in that??

Hi Kamal,

What are you modelling? that will help you alot anyway if your model involves rotating element then the speed and the radius of the rotating element as well as the fluid material defines the Renolds number. Rotating Reynolds number = vL/kinematic viscosity, where L is the characteristic length = the radius of the rotating element.

That means defining the rotational speed and the geometry as well as the fluid material property leads to specific Re number

i need to find the Drag co-efficient for reynolds number 20.in my model sphere is inside the pipe and water is flowing through pipe.

fluent code is dimensional...try to set the parameters (velocity, viscosity and so on...) in a way that the product gives you the Re that you need
