Hi ppl!

I have been repeatedly encountering the following error-

Error: divergence detected in AMG solver: pressure correction Error Object: ()

I have been working with pretty much the same mesh for a while now and the error popped up when i tried using the 2nd order discretization. I also tried making the mesh a little better by modifying the BL but now i get the same error with both 1st and 2nd orders. Previous replies 2 this prob from this forum suggest lowering the under-relaxation factors but this doesn't seem 2 help!! any ideas??! also, i'd really appreicate it if someone could tell me why exactly this error is generated or where i could fine more info about it...thanks!!

Hey, I can't help you with the details of how and why, but except what has already been suggested (UR coef), I remember having divergence problems when using extreme porous media coefficient sets. Are you using a porus medium?
