Convergence
Hello, I'm solving a twophase unsteady flow using Eulerian model. All the time, the residuals of continuity equation are less than 106(between 106 and 108) but those of turbulence are close to 102. Is it a good convergence? Kind regards. Chouki

Re: Convergence
Setting residual values to 1e4 or 1e6 by experience is the one way of checking for the convergence.
But for some case monitoring some of the flow parameters with respect to the number of iterations ( Time step for Transient) is the best way of judging the convergence. You may check the variations in pressure/ velocity /temperature with reference to the iterations.Once this curve becomes stable/ periodic , then we can conclude that solutuion is converged.
