Hallo,

I´ve got another interesting question. I´m trying to calculate the shear stress as a numerical value on a cylinder-surface. Is there any chance to do this. I´m not a pro in Fluent but it might be an interesting question how to do this.

In the postprocessor of Fluent i was able to show the shear stress as a vector arrow.

Greetings

i think you can calculate the shear stress as a numerical value on a cylinder-surface.open fluent software, select file/export, then you can choose to export the value, and the area and the shear stress.
