Supersonic Steady Inviscid flow over a cone

Dear Users

I am a doctoral candidate in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, The George Washington University, Washington DC.

My work is primarily experimental in nature. But I am in need making some basic CFD analysis using FLUENT 3D.

I have been working with some 2D simulations, so I am aware of the basic fucntionalities in FLUENT.

The 3D problem I would like to simulate with FLUENT is a "Supersonic Steady Inviscid flow over a cone of 25 degree half angle".

Could someone point me to a 3D tutorial for GAMBIT meshing and FLUENT solver. Any alternative tutorial for 3D flows would also be helpful.

Regards Kartik

I too am facing a similar problem to this, were you able to find good tutorials? I really appreciate your help

If you have any idea let me convey i am also seeking some information regarding simulation of cone .
