Burner Sketch for liquid fuel combustion

Hi Forum Users, I desperately need some burner sketch that can actually burn both liquid and gas fuel. I read a lot of literature on combustion but to start i need some kind of a sketch of a burner. If anyone can provide with the same that would be highly appreciated. Thankyou for your time Ashwin.C.Punjabi

Yes, these can be quite difficult to locate. The good thing is if you just want to set up a generic case, you can look at schematics or cutaways of burners found on webpages for burner vendors. Look for Coen, Todd, or Hamworth-Peabody. These should give enough information on size, geometry, air flow path, swirl, etc.

If you need to model a specific burner, then you would likely have all the geometry info needed.

Hey Allan, Thankyou for the information. Any sketch would almost be a patent and so it would be impossible right to get. well i will look for rough schematics to work Thankyou Ashwin.C.Punjabi

Hi manish, how are you? Firstly which industry does your burner have application for. secondly there are dual fired , staged fuel burners available in plenty of models. fine tune your requirement and check out johnzink, hartworthy peabody, they are burner manufacturers. hope this helps thanks ashwin
