Hi, i really have a problem about FLUENT .i'll very appreciate it if you can help me, there is Error: "Floating point error: invalid number", my UDF is about Maxwell equations which include only two scalars , electric field (Poisson equation considering space charge ) and current (continuity equation):i put them in the accessory. and i want get the distribution of them. give me your e-mail ,i send my UDF to you.

Dear David,

It seams that there is a zero division in some where in the code, which is difficult to tell you, or probably you are getting zero some where and using it in a division.

Try to isolate part by part of your code and test it even the results are not physical, but at least you are quite sure about the code...

Thanks for your answer,my gambit model is a 2D model which includes a 450x300mm rectangle with three small circles equal spaced along the long center line. in my analysis i also want to apply boundary condition to the three small circle lines ,so i split the three small planes from the rectangular plane, if the zero division you said appeared in there? or if there is any other way to build the geometry model for interior boundary condition?thanks again!

Dear David,

Sorry if I misundestood your msg. As I understand you have a rectangle with 3 small circles inside the rectangle spaced equally. The domain of the simulation is the inside part of the rectangle MINUS the space of circles, am I right?

Is your case an axysimetric simulation?

thanks, the domain of the simulation is exactly the inside part of the rectangle and an symmetrical domain. but the space of circles are also included, i put the circle lines here for applying boundary condition, in addition, my domain includes only electric and current fields but fluid field, namely, there is not velocity item.
