Hi friends, I want to mesh my model with boundary layer thickness, so pls can any body tell me how to calculate the boundary layer thickness and growth rate for meshing my model...
With regards, CL..... |

You can calculate the boundary layer thickness using basic theory of BL. Another simple method is to mesh the geometry without BL and see for yourself how thick the BL is. Although the solution may not be very accurate, it will give you a good idea. This will help you in appropriately resolving the BL into finer cells across BL.
