Record computational time

Hi Sorry for posting this question but i could not find anything posted relating to it. Do you know how to record the computational time Fluent takes to convergence? Is it an auto save function? Thanks a lot in advance.

I am just running once CPU, do you any other options for me to save the exact time taken for the whole computation?

I don't know the workaround for serial, but you can use parallel solver with just one CPU (then parallel/timer/usage)
:fluent 3d -t1 -pnet

Re: Record computational time

Hello Edwin,

there is a text command (solver-cpu-time) which prints the CPU time in sec for a given fluent session into the console.

cheers Max
