Hi,

I have done a supersonic flowfield simulation. How can I use this data as the starting conditions for another supersonic flowfield simulation as now I'll be using a different scheme?

Thanks.

I've been trying to figure this out myself. What I think I've figured out is I can write an interpolation file from my original solution, begin a new case and then read in the interpolation data. No idea if that will work as I haven't gotten to implementing it yet but you can give it a shot.

If your grid is the same there should be no question, i mean if you only have to switch your scheme to another one.. just do it. So obviously you mean how to move your data to a more refined or less refined grid of the same domain. The answer is as stated by you, simply interpolate. Fluent has the capability to create an interpolation file that can then be read in the new grid. You can also write the b.c.s to avoid confusion in setting again your case. check the user's manual about this
