hye thr, im currently doin a project regarding heat & flow analysis in aneurysm..

my problem is that im trying to input the materials that i suppose to do which is blood but thn theres no database in fluent..

how cn i input the database in fluent?? and what are the properties needed to input it??

ive got properties such as density, viscosity, Re, specific heat, yeild stress, thermal conductivity..

should i edit from the water database?? help me out plz..thx in advance

Re: blood properties

Hi..

You can enter the properties of blood in selcting water and by going to viscosity where u have several Non-newtonian model and can give the properties of viscosity and some more properties by which u calculate viscosity.

U can look at Non-newtonian models in Fluent Database and can specify the values according to that.

Hope it helps. San.
