Exceed intallation on Vista
 

Hi, I'd like to install Exceed Powersuite 2007 (version 12.0) on a laptop with Windows Vista. During installation, an error message appears when installer is creating folders in:

c:\ProgramData\Hummingbird\Connectivity\12.00\Glob al

and the same installer eventually stops end quits. Could the problem be related to folder access authorization? or else?

I had the same probleme, you must install Exceed Powersuite 2008 because win vista dont accept 2007's version.

I am not the right person to ask to...but I think it's a software which manages some functions about Fluent and Gambit. Gambit needs it just to start itself. Moreover I think it is useful for networking and parallelization...

Exceed is a Xserver for Windows operating system. Gambit is a Unix based program which needs X-window server or Xserver to simulate a Unix environment in Windows OS so that Gambit can run.
