Porous media!!!Help me please!!!!

HI, I have a problem with porous media in fluent. I must analyze the flow field in a catalytic converter. I have set the inertial and viscous resistance and imposted physical velocity but the problem is that the flow at the out of porous media is uniform!!!!It's not right because to the inlet of porous media the velocity isn't uniform!!!
