problem with opening gambit after upgrade windows
 

I did upgrade to my windows copy its XP professional service pack 2 after that gambit can not be opening anymore can anybody tell me the reson of this please?

when I open the program this message appear to me: cannot open connect stream. TRANS(SocketINETGetAddr): tnamebysocket() failed TRANS(SocketINETConnect): TRANS(SocketINETGetAddr) () failed TRANS(Open): transport open failed for tcp/ZAID-406DC00D22:0 Unable to open display

any suggestions pls what I can do with this case?

that looks to be exceed problem reinstall it let others know if it works out

I reinstalled both exceed and gambit several times but without success so is there another option to fix this problem?

I fixed this problem the solution included
 

I fixed the problem which face me before some days ago and gambit now work properly so everybody face like this problem can do the following:

Go to strart menu>Programs>hummingBird connectivity>Exceed>Xsession

Then a window will appear click on directory then a window will appear you need just to specify the working directory of gambit then close the window after that Gambit start. Regards Baker Saleem
