Hi, I'm modelling an axi-symmetric problem. I divided my entire domain into 6 faces and meshed it. I then selected FLUID type for all six faces. While reading the case in FLUENT, it is not showing individual FLUID type that I have created in GAMBIT. Should we define any boundary condition to the line that forms the interface between the FLUID zones? Can anyone let me know their suggestions Thankyou

Dear Raghav,
By axi-symmetric problem, do you mean rotating periodic flow? In that case, you will you will have to use periodic B.C. In in case, you cannot select fluid type for faces if the solution domain is 3D. You will have to select the wall or symmetric B.C. for faces as the case may be. Hope this helps! Amod |
