My problem is to simulate the flow in a three-phase reactor.Water and biogranules are put into the column reactor, and then, air flows into the bottom of the column and take water and granules flow together in the reactor.

My question is how to set the initiate volume conditions? Can i use the region adaption to set the initiate volume proportion? Who can tell me something about the region adaption?

Thanks!

Use region adaption to mark the area you want to initiate volume fraction. Then use solve->initialise->patch to set the volume fraction on the cells you marked.
