floating point exception

hi everybody I tried to model a viscous flow by "pressure inlet" and "pressure outlet" in FLUENT but there is a trouble and FLUENT announced "floating point exception" and suddenly solve is terminate with error. I can't solve my problem. I studied FLUENT manual. It offers that applicants should use "velocity inlet"! But my problem is that I have to use "pressure inlet". I applied inlet, outlet and opening boundary conditions together but solve failed too soon. What can I do? I would be very grateful for any advice.

If you must use a pressure inlet, try obtaining convergence with a velocity inlet that approximates the pressure inlet first and then switching to a pressure inlet.

Hi and thank for your attention I studied your comment. I'll try to solve my problem in regard to your advice. But how can I switch velocity inlet to pressure inlet? Do I have to write a "UDF"? Or I should stop solve and change boundary condition and iterate again? I'll announce you results. Good luck.

You just need to stop the solve once the solution has converged on a velocity inlet and then switch the boundary condition and start iterating again. I have had good luck with this in the past.
