Solver controls based upon monitors

Hello, I'd like to run an unsteady simulation where the solver stops not after a defined amount of time steps but once a certain monitored value is reached. Specifically, I'd like to run until a specific outlet temperature is reached without exceeding it. Is there a way to automate this? Thanks in advance.

yes there is a way to do that, you need a scheme file. I have one if you are interested. Here the description of this scheme file
This Scheme function allows the user to monitor the convergence of the solution based *only* on the relative change in the average of a field variable on a list of surfaces |
