Hello everybody,
I have an import problem and I'm a bit too new with FLUENT to have an idea how to start: I have a 3D-Matrix where each entry represents the local porosity of a small extruded square element. This I need to import somehow to FLUENT. How can I assign the porosity properties of the matrix to an actual FLUENT geometry (in this case also an extruded square)? |

you have to write UDF(nothing but coding in C language with FLUENT supplied header files and their own data structure) for this purpose. DEFINE_PROFILE or DEFINE_INIT macro may be used for initialising porosity profile in the domine. Refer Fluent UDF manual for complete information.
