Hi,

Thank you very much for the pdf file. I have gone through this tutorial and still I have the same message

Host spawning Node 0 on machine "linux-t1ck" (unix). /home/oem/fluent/Fluent.Inc/fluent6.3.26/bin/fluent -r6.3.26 3ddp -node -t2 -pethernet -mpi=hp -mport 127.0.0.2:127.0.0.2:13302:0 Starting /home/oem/fluent/Fluent.Inc/fluent6.3.26/multiport/mpi/lnamd64/hp/bin/mpirun -np 2 /home/oem/fluent/Fluent.Inc/fluent6.3.26/lnamd64/3ddp_node/fluent_mpi.6.3.26 node -mpiw hp -pic ethernet -mport 127.0.0.2:127.0.0.2:13302:0 mpirun: rsh: Command not found\

Do you have any clue what I am doing wrong or what I should do in this case? I look forward to hearing from you.

Re: parallel procesing

Hello,

as i can see you haven't set fluent command in your PATH I mean you cannot type "fluent" in a shell and Fluent will work. Am i right? Try to fix this. An it will probably work.

Try this and we are here for more help.

Cheers

Hi,

Thank you for replay. I have defined fluent command in the path. I can type "fluent" and it is working. I tried as well to start Using Command Line Options and Using the Graphical User Interface and still nothing. Do you have any clue what can be wrong?

All the best

Re: parallel procesing

If you can try starting FLuent like this:

fluent 2ddp -t2 -ssh

this tellas Fluent to open as 2ddp in two processes with ssh.

Try this.

Hi,

Thank you very much. It is working! I was using this command as well but without -ssh, and I was always getting the same error. What does it mean -ssh?

Once again, thanks a lot

Re: parallel procesing

ssh means that it will use the secure shell for comunications and not rsh.

I am glad that I could help you.

Best.
