meshing in gambit

Default meshing in gambit

hi all..

i have a problem in meshing the surface with quad mapping scheme. whenever i try this to do i got a error message "surface can't be converted to sub mappable region" please help me in this. is their any alternative way to convert non mappable region to the mappable region??????

Hi shubham, which kind of section/face you want to mesh. As I understand if there is non-uniformity in cross section where projection of nodes are not possible, Gambit does't allow you to do meshing with sub-mappable scheme.

put equal number of nodes in the parallel edges..that too even number of nodes....it should work.
