Supersonic Flow around a 2D Ballistic

Hi guys, I try to simulate a supersonic flow around a 2D ballistic in Fluent. Segregated or coupled solver is more suitable for supersonic flows? Which viscous model is more accurate according to your experience? Is there any book or tutorial that would help me with the grid generation around 2D or 3D ballistic? Please help me!!! Thanks!

Hi,

I suppose you would need to use a coupled solver since you are already in the supersonic regime. And maybe you might want to use the Spallart-Allmaras model? I have heard that it is pretty accurate for high speed external aerodynamics(if yours is a ballistic missile).

Hope this helps.
