Hello All,
would someone have an idea if Solidworks can generate tetrahedral 3-d mesh of a volume? Can this mesh be exported into GAMBIT for further processing? Regards. |

Hi,
In fact solidworks is used for geometry generation, but from fluent web site you can download a free software to transfer the geometry from solidworks directly to gambit see Fluent CAD Connection Software Facilitates the Link between Design and Simulation it is free but you should be registered at the fluent web site also you should have a gambit license to import other geometry files like iges, stl, acis. another solution is to save as the geometry as stl or iges,... and import it into gambit , for iges you can select solidworks instead of generic in the import panel. i hope these useful Khairy |
