Default calculation of eddy length scale

I use the discrete phase modelling in fluent and to evaluate the particle dispersion I use the discrete random walk. In this model the eddy length scale Le takes parts. Does anyone know how this scale is calculated ? I did not find any answer in the fluent help manual. Thanks a lot
