how to open a cas file in gambit
 
hello, i lost my gambit file but i have a .csa file, how can i get my mesh back from thet file. Thanx for your help

First of all I consider .cas not .csa (I don't know if csa is a valid extension) go to FILE-->IMPORT-->MESH--> and change the format from ANSYS to fluent 5/6

if you have .jou file you can load journal too which gambit redo what ever you have done I think this will help

you can import the mesh file into gambit and i am not sure about .cas file. also, after importing, you will see virtual geometry.
