Hi, Im designing an annular flow in pipe. Everytime I iterate the solution it gives floating error - invalid number and the y+ value in the xy-plot comes zero.
Anybodies guidance will be highly appreciated.

Hello Umar
Did you create a Boudary Layer along the inside face of your pipe?
Is your flow turbulent, laminar?if it is turbulent, which model do you use?
Did you enable the near wall treatment?
Do you use any heat source term?

These aare just some questions in order to have a more precise idea of you calculation model.

I hope it can help you

Hello mbernard,

First of all thx for the reply. The flow is turbulent with k-epsilon (VOF Model). The boundary is fine meshed by using Group ID at a single inlet. No heat term is used and enhanced wall treatment is used mostly. The pipe dimensions are 6.6m long and 0.055 m diameter (Horizontal flow). I have also tried different meshing like boundary layer also. But each time this floating point error appears-invalid number. Similarly, the xy-plot in turbulence with y+ comes zero.
Your further guidance is looked forward with anticipation.
Best Regards,
Umar
