How To Convert Fluid wall in Solid Wall Boundary Condition
Hi,
I am doing one heat transfer analysis in room. In that i have fluid and solid domain. I have meshed them with altair products. When i export them to fluent. Fluent is considering the solid wall as fluid wall itself. So what can be done for this??? Or else shall i consider the solid wall as fluid wall itself and run my analyis... Will it work??Pls give ur comments.... With regards, RGN |
HI
:)
Plizz check your boundery condition in your mesh generation software ( gambit for exa) provide a boundery condition according to your problem and then recheck in Fluent with disply menu and grid by using boundery condition that you made in your mesh generation software |
Hi
Hi,
Thanks for ur time... S off course i checked my meshing and my B.C during my meshing. Every thing is fine. Even when i read that case file in fluent the shadow wall is also creating for solid zone. But the problem is instead of considering the solid wall fluent is taking that as fluid wall itself. So pls give ur ideas for sorting out this problem. With regards, RGN |
Hello
Can you be a little more precise about your case, geomtry and meshing? I don't understand what you mean by the words " fluid wall". does this surface located between two fluid zones, or between a solid and a fluid? Maybe you define your solid zone as a fluid in Gambit, such mistake happens frequently cause the default media definition is set on fluid in gambit... Hope it will help you . Let us know about the case evolution :):) Regards |
