Thriller is on a distinguished road
Hello,

I am using SA for external flows. Ideally the turbulence at the inlet should be 0, so I set the TVR to 10e-7. I am not using laminar blocks so everything will be turbulent. Fortunately it has been proven that transition occurs near the leading edge so I think it is ok to use that TVR. Fluent manual recommends higher values (TVR ~ 1) for fully turbulent flows but I think this is far from the real conditions I am experimenting with. Do you think my approach is correct based on the assumption that transition occurs early?

Thank you.
