Default VOF - fluid property problem

I have successfully modelled a fluid with properties similar to foam (density, viscosity) flowing into a tank half filled with oil using the VOF model. The foam rises to the free surface correctly i think, and the turbulent velocity caused by the foam causes it to flow to the opposite side of the tank on the surface.

The problem I have is that the momentum is conserved when the foam hits the wall of the tank, which causes it to flow back towards the other side, creating a lot of sloshing. In real terms foam would simply stick to the wall, and the momentum would not be conserved at all, resulting in a build up of foam.

I am wondering if anyone knows how I could set fluent to not conserve the momentum of the fluid when hitting the walls, or if one of the other multiphase models would be more appropriate.

Any help would be great as this is for my final year project.

quick update, I put a small porous region at the wall in question, early signs show that it may be doing the job of removing some of the momentum. Again, any comments/suggestions would be helpful
