zjbwow is on a distinguished road
hi there,

this time is the split/merge volume command.

there are 3 options in this command panel

retain
bidirectional
connected

as long as I know,

retain means the split face will be retained
bidirectional means there r 2faces for each of the split volume
connected means there are only one common face, which means the splitting is logically

can you tell me right or wrong and what is the difference of selecting one option and selecting both of "connected" and "bidirectional"

thx in advance
