I'm modeling two-phase mixture, I got error message of:

turbulent viscosity limited to viscosity ratio of 1.000000e+005 in 226857 cells....

Can I get help to solve it?

Thanks

that is mainly because of the turbulence model you use.
set the appropriate model, and also better approximation of the turbulence parameters in inlet/outlet boundary conditions.

Hello

I have been also trying to model the flow over rib roughened passages using a realisable k epsilon model.

I am modelling the flow using periodic boundary conditions as i am modelling a flow which is already fully developed.

what should i do in order to specify my inlet turbulent parameters carefully?
I have used intensity and hydraulic diameter of the duct.

any body's help is highly appreciated.

is it affecting your solution convergence...

Can you show us pics of mesh please?

Please also post some pics of residuals...

Hi

I got this problem too

However, my convergence seems to be fine

Only the turbulent viscosity is the problem I faced

If velocity is not my interest of research, could I just leave it without further fix?

Cause I only care about temperature field

Hopefully you can help me a little

Thanks
