Hi everybody,
I just did a simulation of a blood droplet impact onto a solid surface with the VOF model. I have catched a sequence and datas at different time step. But is it possible to plot the radius of the droplet depending on the time with Fluent ? Thank you very much for answer, Baechtel Guillaume |

Hi!
just an idea, i don't know, if this is working... - create multiple lines perpendicular to the flight path of the droplet. - every time step, plot the liquid fraction on every line. So you gonna have some plots that look like: 000000000000000000000000 000000001111100000000000 000000111111111000000000 000001111111111100000000 000001111111111100000000 000000111111111000000000 000000001111100000000000 000000000000000000000000 with that lines, you might calculate the droplet diameter (the coordinates, where you have a transition between 0 and 1). No idea, if this will work.... And maybe there are much better possibilities.... Best wishes Ralf
