Boundary Condition pressure inlet/oulet for combustion simulations

Dear all,

I'm trying to simulate an RQL-type of combustor, for the moment in 2D. However I experience some difficulties in defining the proper boundary conditions for this type of simulation.

The easiest would be to choose 'velocity inlet' and 'outflow', and it works relatively well. However I've been told that for the simulation of combustion pressure BC's are applied usually. However, when I apply the pressure boundary conditions for both inlet as outlet I get a pressure drop which is way to big and so I have injection velocities which exceed all physical values.

I cannot figure out how to specify the pressure drop between inlet and outlet in an absolute manner. In my case I have a inlet pressure of around 41 bar and would expect a pressure drop in the ranga of 2 bar. Can anyone help on specifying the 'right' pressure drop?

Thanks!

Giuki
