hello, cmu value in k-e turbulence models is constant. i want to write a udf to change turbulent viscosity, in which cmu is a function of some derivatives.. can i change cmu in this udf and such that the cmu defined in user defined panel doesnt work and the cmu in my udf is used in the computation. plz help me in this thanking u

Dear Selçuk,
I'm afraid that it won't work, because the UDF of viscosity will surpress only the turbulent viscosity from the k-e and not the cmu cte. You can calculate inside your UDF and use it to estipulate your viscosity, but I'm quite sure that it won't change the constant inserted from the user. Best regards Lourival Mendes |

Dear Lourival,
it is an old post but I am hoping I will get positive response. So, how should change CMU? |
