Dear Friends
I am doing an fluid analysis with heat transfer. the brief description is Aluminium blocks (100 Nos-3D dense block, not a hollw one )on the flat platform available at 45 degrees celcius.Fluid (air) flow over this blocks at at 10 degrees. since the block and fluid are of different volume wall shadow is forming .I need to set the BC so that the heat conduction inside the AL block also to be incorporated.Heat from the flat terrain conducted at the bottom face of the Al block. It is conducted inside the Al block and towards the pheriphery of the block the convection takes place. I have tried this shell conduction BCs .but the result is not a correct . Is it really possible in Fluent to solve this problem?? regards siva |
