Hi,
i am mech undergrad, currently i am doing my simulation of air flow around building for my final year project.
I am using FLUENT 6.2.16 with standard k-e model.
But my simulation is unable to converge to meet the converge criteria until 1800 iterations.
It keep on pop out the message of reverse flow at my outlet.
I tried with a bigger computational domain and yet i am still unable to get the solution converge.
Is there anything i can do in order to get the solution converge?
Thanks.

Best regards.

Hi,
there are many things you can do
First, I do not know how you changed the domain... you do not need larger domain but need to extend it (of course other boundaries must be may be P inlets). The other thing is: may be you use low speed of wind, so.... it is possible to have so called "unsteady-steady" state... so try to use unsteady solver.

i make it bigger like i extend the top, lateral and downstream domain.
My inlet is the logarithmic velocity inlet while my downstream outlet is pressure outlet.
The top and lateral boundaries was symmetry.
I tried with unsteady solver but the solution just cant converge to what i want.
