Folks,
I have 20 cases I need to post process
I need area-weighted data on specific surfaces.
The thread ID is not always the same but the surface name is

I would like to use a TUI script to do this

I got as far as..

report/s-i/awa

it then asks for the surface ids with the prompt

surface id(1) [()]

It seems to accept [SurfaceName] as text

but then I cant seem to terminate the list

Do I give it [()]??

Any help is appreciated

Thanks

Seems that all you need to do is give a list of names but...
If a surface name is something like

inlet-1
inlet-2

Fluents scheme parser tries to get cute and the script fails

Change them to
ibc-1
ibc-2

and it seems to work

Should we start a poll on how much we all hate the scheme language!!

Here you can find my surface monitor scheme command in which I terminated the cell zone list by ()

solve monitors volume set-monitor vol-avg-iter "Volume-Average" udm-25 zone-a zone-b zone-c () yes 1 yes no 1

I think you can use () to terminate your surface name list.

Good luck...
