shankara.2 is on a distinguished road
Hi all

I am trying to model a film cooling case in 3D. I know the temperature and velocity at the cooling holes entry from the blowing ratio. But in my domain, the cooling holes entry are 'Interior' faces and hence I cant set any BC here. I do not know the temperature and velocity at which flow enters my coolant plenum such that the desired T and v are obtained at the coolant holes entry. Is there any way I can specify the values expected at these interior faces?
I was thinking of solving my problem backwards with film cooling holes entry as inlet and the coolant plenum entry as exit so I get all values of same magnitude but in negative. Is this right?

Thanks

Regards,

Prashanth
