Hallo,

I perform an unsteady computation in Fluent. I need to save a surface report file at each time step while computing the flow. The data to be saved is a area-weighted averaged value of only one variable. Also, the data must be saved only for one surface. Thus, a single file for one time-step looks as follows

"Surface Integral Report"

Area-Weighted Average
Mass fraction of co2
-------------------------------- --------------------
hole 0.049909446

How to force Fluent to save this surface report file automatically at each time-step??

Thank you,
Alexander

Solve -> Monitors -> Surface

Enable the monitor and the writing option, then specify that you need it for each time step (instead of each iteration) and then define the variable you want to average and the name of the file. That's it.
